On Tuesday, the flat in Indore where Raja’s wife Sonam Raghuvanshi was hidden after the murder, her owner Lokendra Singh Tomar was handed over to the Meghalaya Police on a three -day transit remand. Lokendra was caught on Monday from a flat located in Gandhi Nagar area of ​​Gwalior. On the information of DCP (Crime), Indore, Gwalior Police kept him in custody at Mohana police station. He was produced in court on Tuesday, from where he was handed over to Meghalaya Police on 72 -hour transit remand. Now he has been taken to Indore and then will be taken to Shillong via Delhi and Guwahati.

Accused of hiding and destroying evidence
According to the Meghalaya Police, Lokendra Singh Tomar is accused of hiding and destroying evidence. The goods that Sonam hid after the murder of her husband was kept in this flat. The police suspect that there was important evidence related to the murder in that bag.

However, while talking to the media in police custody, Lokendra described the allegations against himself as false. He said, ‘I was not aware of the case. I rented a flat. I did not have a bag. There was only contact with a person named James. A total of 8 people have been arrested in this case so far, including Sonam, her lover Raj Kushwaha, three betel nut killers and other colleagues.

Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam were married on 11 May in Indore. On 20 May, both of them went on Meghalaya honeymoon. On 23 May, he went missing in Sohra, 65 km from Shillong. On June 2, the king’s body was recovered from a ditch near the waterfall. After the murder, Sonam surrendered to the police in Ghazipur (UP) on 8 June through several states.
