Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has given a big statement about women on Friday (July 18, 2025). Mohan Bhagwat said that for the progress of any nation, empowerment of women is very important and they (women) should be freed from conservative customs and traditions.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat attended a program organized by Industrial Organization in Solapur, Maharashtra on Friday (July 18). During this, he said that women are the most important part of any society.

Empowerment of women is very important for national development- Bhagwat

He said, “A man works till his death and a woman also works till the end, but he inspires the generations coming beyond that. Children under the love and affection of a woman grow, mature and develop.” Along with this, the RSS chief said, “Empowerment of women is also very important for national development.”

God has given additional qualities to women- Bhagwat

He said, “God has given some extra qualities to women compared to men, so that women can do all the work that men cannot do in general. Along with this, God has given women all the qualities that they have given to men, due to which they can do everything they can do, which men can do.”

Let women do what she wants to do- Bhagwat

Bhagwat said, “Therefore it is foolish for men to claim that they will uplift women.” He said, “There is no basis for such ego. Let women do what they want to do. Just make them strong and free them from conservative customs and traditions.”

He said, “When a woman uplifts herself, she raises the whole society.” At the same time, while addressing the program, the RSS chief also appreciated the contribution of Industrial Vardhini in strengthening women.
