UP STF and Punjab Police arrested Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and ISI module’s suspected active terrorist Lazar Christ in Kaushambi. Lazarus hails from Kurlian village in Amritsar. He is the right hand of Swarn Singh alias Jeevan Fauji, head of BKI’s German -based module. Lazarus Christ was also in touch with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.
He is currently in Kaushambi jail. The terrorist hid for 45 days by making a den (cave) in the forest of Kokhraj, 50km away from Mahakumbh region. On Monday, UP Police and Punjab Police applied for remand in court in different cases for questioning him.

The first shepherd, who saw the terrorist for the first time …
The shepherd said- the gallop ran out of the den Through the Kanpur-Prayagraj highway, we reached the forests of Kokhraj. Realizing the geographical location here, we met a shepherd. He reached there grazing the goat. We asked- Has a terrorist been caught a few days before here? The shepherd told- The whole village was gathered at dawn that day. The policemen took him in front of everyone.
When the policemen came, the man ran out of the den and ran the gallop. His trick was very fast. We asked- Did you ever see him before? The shepherd said- had seen that crazy (Lazarus Christ) several times in a month and a half, grazing cattle.
The shepherd said- Those who are looking at the jackfruit tree in front, he used to sit here.

He says- This forest is spread over 500 meters radius. Kokhraj-Baripur-Aliganj and Purva Talri villages are around it. This area is right in the middle. He was seen here. Used to act like crazy.
He had a very scary form. Many times he would have done such an act that he felt that he was suffering from hunger and thirst. I have water, I tried to talk to him, but he did not answer anything. Later also often appeared in the forest. Sometimes he would sit on a jackfruit tree. Sometimes the tilanuma used to dig the ground.
He used to act crazy, so no one went close to him. We asked- someone must have come towards the forest? The shepherd said- no… no one comes here. Because gamblers and drunkards live on the forest, then the same kind of people come. No one else…. Nearby farmers also did not come under this silence. If a cattle wander here, then the shepherds like us have to come to catch them.

We reached the spot with the shepherd where the suspected terrorist was hidden. He took us to a mound in the middle of the forest. There appeared like a cave. There were marks of fresh dug on the walls.
On getting closer, it was guessed that it is about 3 feet wide on the exterior and deep up to 12 feet. On going inside, it was dug in two and a half feet width everywhere.
The inner part of the caveum den appeared on 2 narrow path. The path on the other side of the den was narrow, which was covered with a tree branch. One reason for this must have been that no wild animals could come in from this side. The den was dug in such a way that a person could live comfortably inside it.
The special thing is that this Bankaranuma den was prepared in such a way that if any danger is felt inside the front, then it could be run out of the other side. If you try to see a flashlight, then 2 ways have been made inside the cave to distract its attention. Whereas in both the paths, there is a way to remove from one way to the other.

1. Why did the terrorist choose the wild area? Terrorist Lazarus Christ had chosen this forest for some special reason. Actually, this place is 1 km from the National Highway -2. A thin asphalt road passes close to this forest. If you want to go to the highway through the fields, then you will have to walk only 500 meters.
2. What was the strategy to mislead people? Lazarus hid their clothes and beds from the tarpaulin in the soil dug. People told that whenever he saw him, he saw it in torn clothes. There was a dirty bag in his hand. If people tried to talk, he used to run to bite. Often, he would climb a tall jackfruit tree and look at the road. People say that even during this time he used to mumb something.
3. How did Lazarus arrange food and drink? To answer this question, we talked to the people of the dhaba and hotel on the banks of National Highway -2. As soon as he heard questions about the terrorist, everyone started talking about talking. After waiting for a long time, a hotel worker told- that crazy (terrorist) was seen here as soon as evening. He would sit for a long time, sometimes ask for food, sometimes he would be seen eating and gathering the children’s children. Used to take with him in polythene.

The entire area is deserted from forest to highway While looking for the answers to the questions arising in the mind, we left the refuge of terrorist Lazarus and walked towards the National Highway through a raw path.
An Idgah was found on the way. Currently, Idgah and its surrounding area were deserted. A tubewell was seen for irrigation of water in the fields nearby, that was also closed.
Later, we reached the path of National Highway -2 from where the Kokhraj police station was one km. Parking of vehicles of Mahakumbh was built just 800 meters away from here. This point leads to the way from Kanpur to Banaras, Prayagraj Mahakumbh. Its distance is more than 50 km.
Terrorists could not move beyond Sakra checkpost The first stop of Mahakumbh’s security circle was created by Kaushambi’s Cakra Check Point. It falls on the Delhi-Kanpur-Prayagraj route. Here security personnel armed with modern weapons used to vigilant day and night. CCTV, armored vehicles and paramilitary forces were deployed at the check point.
Police said that Lazarus reached here several times to enter from this spot, but could not cross the entry point. According to the shepherd, one day the Lazarus Mahakumbh was seen crossing the entry point and walking in the town of Muratganj.
