Kurakova said that recent attacks are reminding him of the early days of the Russian invasion. She says, ‘I still have dreams in which I feel that I am hidden and running from drones, running away from bombs and looking for a place to hide.’

The Iranian attack in Bet Yam broke the windows of the houses and the walls of the second floor of Kurakova were damaged.

Kurakova’s mother is still living in a Russian -occupied area in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. He has told his daughter to leave Israel and go somewhere else. Kurakova has not yet decided what to do, where to go.

Kurakova said, ‘I feel scared both inside and outside.’ She further said that she used to trust Israel’s air defense system but now her trust has also become weak.
