A major railway accident in Kanpur survived, when the driver of Kalindi Express going from Bhiwani to Prayagraj stopped the train by applying emergency brake in time. The incident took place near Maryani underpass in Chaubepur, where the railway track was sunk due to heavy rains.
Stir felt in the track
According to the information, when the train was moving from Farrukhabad towards Kanpur, the driver suddenly felt a stir and a stir in the track when Mariani reached near the underpass. Immediately, he applied emergency brakes, which averted a possible accident.
