A shocking incident has come to light in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, UP. A 30-year-old truck driver was beaten to death by a 30-year-old truck driver in a quarrel while drinking alcohol. The deceased has been identified as Balllal Patel alias Chwani, who was originally a resident of Gunnore in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the report of the news agency, the police said that the incident took place around 10:30 pm on Tuesday night when Ballal went to meet his acquaintance and the tea shop operator Ranjit in the area. There was a dispute between the two while drinking alcohol, after which Ranjit attacked Ballal with sticks and escaped leaving him in an injured state.
When the local people saw the body of Balllal on the roadside on Wednesday morning, the police was immediately informed. Police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Indirapuram region Abhishek Srivastava said that the post -mortem report found two serious fractures and several injuries on Balllal’s body, which makes it clear that he was murdered with extreme cruelty.
Balllal was living separately from his wife for the last three years and used to work in the truck by staying in Ghaziabad. The family lodged a complaint with the police station on Thursday afternoon, on the basis of which the police have registered an FIR against the accused Ranjit in the relevant sections. At present, the accused is absconding and police teams have been set up to search for him.
