According to the report of the news agency, businessman Sanjeev Kumar bought Honda Scooty, which has a market price of around 1 lakh rupees, but what he spent for its registration surprised everyone. Sanjeev bid 14 lakhs for the HP-21 C -0001 number and won the number by beating his opponent by 50,000. This number is connected to the Badsar Revenue sub -division of Hamirpur district, due to which he has a special attachment.
The owner told why spent so much money
When he was asked whether it is prudent to spend such a huge amount for an ordinary car like Scooty, Sanjeev Kumar gave an interesting answer. He said, ‘There is no cost of hobbies. This is part of my modern lifestyle and passion.
A transport department official said that it is the number plate of the most expensive two -wheeler ever in the state. Usually, high bids are made for such numbers for cars, but for a scooty, such an amount has been paid for the first time.
Local people are surprised about this decision. Some people called it “wasteful”, while some called it an example of “money power and personal choice”. However, Sanjeev Kumar says that this number gives him self -respect and this is the most important to him.
