However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not yet commented on Trump’s announcement. Netanyahu is repeatedly referring to Hamas’s elimination in his statement. Recently, he refused to discuss Hamas’s demand. Meanwhile, Netanyahu is scheduled to meet Trump in Washington on Monday and Trump said that he will take a very strict stance on the need for a ceasefire with Netanyahu.

Trump’s deadline

In fact, US President Donald Trump had earlier announced on Tuesday that Israel has accepted the conditions required for a 60 -day ceasefire, during which efforts would be made to end the war going on for about 21 months in Gaza. Trump said that he expects a response from both sides in the next few hours.

Ceasefire proposal

According to the ceasefire proposal, Hamas will release the bodies of 10 living hostages and 18 dead hostages during a 60 -day ceasefire. Eight living hostages will be released on the first day and after the seventh day, Israel will withdraw its army from parts of Southern Gaza. After this, both sides will start dialogue for permanent ceasefire. The proposal also includes that immediately adequate human assistance will be provided with the involvement of the United Nations and Red Cross in Gaza.

138 Palestinians died in 24 hours

At the same time, in the last 24 hours, at least 138 Palestinians have died in Gaza in the Israeli attacks, many of which include women and children. Health officials of Nasar Hospital in Khan Younis said that 15 displaced Palestinians lost their lives in an air strike on a tent camp at 2 am on Friday.
