US President Donald Trump said in an interview to Fox News that the business talks between the US and Canada will not proceed until Canada ends some taxes. He described Canada as a “bad behavior” country.
He said that he is demanding the removal of some taxes, especially Digital Services Tax (DST), which is going to be implemented from Monday and will affect American tech companies such as Amazon, Google and Meta.
In this interview, Trump also revealed that he has discovered a buyer for Tiktok, which is a “group of very rich people”. They will make the name of this group public in about two weeks.
Repeated claims about Iran
In this conversation, he also repeated his old claims about Iran. Trump said that Iran’s nuclear program has been destroyed and he expressed confidence that Iran will not be able to make any atomic bomb soon.

He said, “They would not be able to acquire nuclear weapons in the near future. We had to attack them, because they were close to making atomic bombs.”
Warning to Canada
Earlier on Friday, Trump on Friday announced to terminate all business talks with immediate effect on his social media platform Truth, calling Canada’s digital service tax “direct and clear attack”.
He also warned that a new tariff will be announced on Canadian goods in the next seven days. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has not yet publicly responded to this, but his government has defended the implementation of digital service tax.
