The Waqf Board got how many poor girls married till date. The Waqf Board has given houses to the houses till date. It is worth noting that today the WAQF Amendment Bill is being introduced in the Lok Sabha. Today, many small Muslim organizations in Delhi and Bhopal took out rallies in support of this bill.

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, and many other big organizations have opposed the Waqf Bill and described it as an attack on religious freedom.

Now we know which Muslim organizations have announced to support this bill.

1. Jamiat Himayat ul Islam

Jamiat Himayat ul Islam has asked sharp questions to those who advocate the Waqf Board and Waqf Amendment Bill, supporting this bill. Sadar Qari Abrar Jamal of Jamiat Himayat ul Islam has said that only those Muslims are upset due to passing the Waqf Bill, who have occupied the property of Waqf Board themselves.

He has asked what the Waqf Board contributed to the progress of Muslims till date? The Waqf Board got how many poor girls got married till date, how many people were given houses.

Kari Abrar Jamal has asked how rich people have captured all the shops of Waqf Board by paying Rs 20 and 50. Why did Muslim organizations not raise voice till date to free Waqf’s property from Waqf mafia.

He has raised an important question and said that despite the Waqf Board being the third largest property in the country, why is every fourth beggar Muslim to roam on the road. He said that when there is no right on the property of Waqf other than Allah, then how did Waqf mafia become. Why the Waqf Board has not made its income and expenses public till date.

2. All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Council

All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Council operated from Ajmer, Rajasthan has supported the Waqf Bill. This organization is associated with Ajmer Sharif Dargah and represents Sufi traditions. In September 2024, it supported the Waqf Bill before the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). This organization admitted that this bill will improve the safety and management of Waqf properties.

Syed Nasruddin Chishti, chairman of All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Council and associated with Ajmer Dargah, has said that amendment in this bill does not mean that mosques or assets will be taken away. It is wrong to say this. He said that after discussion in JPC, this bill has been brought comfortably. Nasruddin Chishti claimed that he was sure that after the amendment, there will be transparency in Waqf’s work.

He said that disagreement is different. We believe that whatever bill comes, it should be in the interest of all religious wealth of Waqf and this is also the intention of the government. Syed Chishti said that I will urge those who are misleading that it is not time to mislead. All together get a good bill passed. This is the need of the hour.

3. Pasmanda Muslim Mahaj

This organization, which represents Pasmanda (backward) Muslims, is in favor of the Waqf Bill. In the JPC meeting in September 2024, it described the bill as beneficial for 85% Muslims. This organization says that this bill will improve the marginalized Muslims by improving the Waqf Board.

Pasmanda Samaj says that this amendment has started shaking the foundation of Ashraf (forward) Muslims who illegally occupied Waqf properties, so they are opposing it and opposing the Muslim community.

Pasmanda Muslims say that being passed by this bill will improve the lives of poor Muslims.

Parvez Hanif, the national president of All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaj, had said that who has given the contract of Muslims to people like Owaisi and Madani. The Muslim community is with this amendment.

Another leader associated with this organization Atif Rashid had said that the Waqf Board was established to ensure the welfare of the poor. But the opposite is the opposite.
