New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was declared out by the third umpire in the second innings of the Melbourne Test match. There is an uproar after the way Bangladesh was given out by umpire Sharfuddaula. BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla has openly opposed this decision. He warned the third umpire and asked him to pay attention and termed this decision as wrong.
Yashasvi Jaiswal had to return after being out on the score of 84 runs in the second innings of the Boxing Day Test. Alex Carey caught Pat Cummins behind the wicket and made a strong appeal. The field umpire rejected it and the captain took a review. The third umpire looked at Yashasvi’s shot again and again and declared him out. However, there was no movement of any kind in the Sneoko meter, a machine that captures the sound.
Yashaswi jayaswal was clearly not out. Third umpire should have taken note of what technology was suggesting. While over ruling field umpire third umpire should have solid reasons. @BCCI @ICC @ybj_19
