Canada has qualified for next year’s T20 World Cup by defeating Bahamas by seven wickets in the US qualifier. The Canadian team will be seen playing in the World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka next year.

Canada Men’s Cricket Team (Canada Men’s Cricket Team) defeated Bahamas by 7 wickets in the US qualifier and qualified for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 to be held in India and Sri Lanka next year. This was the fifth consecutive win in Canadian American qualifiers. Canada also played the T20 World Cup held in West Indies and America last year.
Canada achieved a target of 57 runs in six overs in the qualifier played and qualified for the T20 World Cup. While bowling first, Canada dismissed Bahamas in 19.5 overs with the help of three wickets of spinners Kalim Sana and Shivam Sharma. After this, the target was achieved in 5.3 overs thanks to Dilpreet Bajwa’s unbeaten 36 runs.
Canada also qualified for the ICC Mains T20 World Cup 2024. He won 4 out of 5 matches and confirmed it in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Kalim Sana was the top wicket -taking player who took 15 wickets. Aaron Johnson and Navneet Dhaliwal finished second and third in the top run scorers, scoring 187 and 116, respectively. In the T20 World Cup 2024, the Canadian team also clashed with India. But the match was canceled without throwing the ball.
