Three children aged 13, 11 and 9, living in Sadar Bazar area of Delhi, suddenly went missing on 25 July. All three study in the same school. Police investigation revealed that the three had left the house to meet Salman Khan.
According to a PTI report, children had befriended a young man named Waheed, a resident of Jalna in Maharashtra on an online gaming app (free fire).
Waheed claimed that he had met actor Salman Khan and can try to introduce him. The three tried to trust Waheed’s words and then go to Mumbai.
Children Got out of the house without telling
The children left home without telling their family. The families then filed a missing report. During the investigation, the police found a hand written note from a child’s house. It was written that he is going to meet Waheed in Jalna. This became the first major link in this case.
After this, the police searched CCTV footage and the children were seen near Ajmeri Gate. It was estimated that they reached New Delhi railway station and caught the train.
On the basis of potential trains and routes, the police expressed suspicion that they must have left ‘Sachkhand Express’ towards Maharashtra. According to NDTV, the children sat in the train without a ticket.
Waheed refused to meet
When Waheed came to know that the matter had reached the police, he changed his intention to meet the children. After this, the children left the plan to go to Jalna and got off the train in Nashik.
However, Waheed could not be contacted, but the mobile location could detect the children.
According to the Times of India report, Delhi Police, along with the Railway Police and Maharashtra Police, conducted a search operation.
Four days later, on Tuesday, the three children were found safe at a railway station in Nashik. The police took the children under their protection and started preparing to send them back to Delhi. All three children are absolutely fine.
