Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has given a big statement about Hindus in Kanpur, UP. Addressing the volunteers at Deendayal Upadhyay School in Nawabganj, he said that the goal of the Sangh is to create a society that is free from social inequalities like casteism and understand its responsibilities towards the nation.
According to the news agency report, Bhagwat reached Kanpur on Saturday on a two -day visit. On Sunday, he told the volunteers that the work of the Sangh focused on increasing social awareness along with personal development. He appealed to the volunteers to establish contact with every family in their ‘branch’ areas and should engage in the work of uniting Hindus.
He said, ‘There should be rituals and family harmony in every family so that the Sanatan tradition can be re -established. The purpose of the Sangh is to unite the society and bring equality in it.
He said that the Sangh has entered its 100th year and is moving towards widespread social change under the principle of ‘punch change’. He said that this change focuses on points like society’s thinking, lifestyle, awareness towards environment, caste equality and rights on public resources.
Bhagwat discussed the activities of the branches, service works among the students and the role of other organizations in four meetings. Union General Secretary Dattatreya Hosbole has also been in Kanpur for the last two days and is training volunteers.
