Sharad Pawar on Language Dispute: There has been a political storm in Maharashtra over language dispute. On the language dispute, former CM Uddhav Thackeray said that we are not against Hindi, but imposing Hindi means a language dominated by a party. We will perform on this issue.
On language dispute, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said that nothing will be imposed in democracy. The compulsory use of the word Hindi has also been removed.
On the Hindi language dispute, Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankuy said, Marathi is necessary in the state, but Hindi can be an alternative language.
State Education Minister Dadaji Bhusa met MNS chief Raj Thackeray over the language dispute. But even after the meeting, the secret stands on its stance.
NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s response has come to the ongoing disaster over language dispute in the state. He said that it is not right to make Hindi language mandatory in FIR education. There is no problem in learning Hindi after class five. Because the large population of the country uses Hindi language.
Sharad Pawar said – Excessive language burden should not be put on young children. If a child gets away from his mother tongue and learns a new language, then it will be wrong.
He suggested to the state government that he should leave the stubbornness to make Hindi compulsory up to class five. Mother tongue should get priority in any state. After class five, if a child’s parents want him to learn another language, then a decision can be taken.
