It was told that he will be cremated at Vile Parle, Mumbai on Saturday, April 5 at 12 noon. Some family members of Manoj Kumar live abroad, so the family decided to perform the last rites on Saturday. The information was also that Manoj Kumar’s wife is also not feeling well. Now preparations for the funeral of the actor have started. Manoj Kumar’s body has been taken from Kortaben Hospital to his house in Juhu. Manoj Kumar was born on 24 July 1937 in Pakistan. His real name was Harikrishna Giri Goswami. Manoj Kumar was born in Abbottabad (now Pakistan). His family came to Delhi during the partition of India-Pakistan. He was crazy about cinema since childhood. He loved watching movies. He had put his stage name in the name of his character Manoj Kumar in Dilip Kumar’s film ‘Shabnam’. The actor made his acting debut in the film ‘Fashion’ in 1957.
1965 was a big game changer for his career. The film ‘Shaheed’, which came this year, gave mileage to his career. Just after this, he never turned back and looked back. No matter what the role was, they used to get completely molded into it. Manoj Kumar’s films were not only a hit, but its songs also climbed on the tongue of the people.
