Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj on 5 February. They will take a holy dip in the Sangam at around 11 am and will offer prayers to the mother Ganga.

Mahakumbh 2025 has started in Prayagraj on 13 January. It is considered to be the largest spiritual and cultural event in the world, devotees from all over the world are participating in it. Mahakumbh will run till 26 February Mahashivaratri.

PM Modi’s full schedule

  • Amid voting in Delhi, PM Modi will visit Kumbh.
  • PM Modi will reach Bamrauli Airport in Prayagraj at 10:05 am at 9:10 am.
  • From the airport, he will land at the helipad at DPS Ground in Mahakumbh area at 10:35 am via helicopter.
  • PM Modi will reach Arel Ghat at 10:45 pm.
  • Sangam nose will reach Nishad Raj Cruise from Arel Ghat.
  • At the confluence, we will take a dip of faith in the stream of Triveni.
  • Triveni will worship Ganga after bathing.
  • The program is also proposed to meet the saint Mahatmas at the confluence itself.
  • After this, we will see in Akshayavat.
  • After Akshayavat, we will worship Darshan in Hanuman ji’s temple.
  • Get out of Mahakumbh region and will go to the airport from DPS ground and will leave for New Delhi from there.

PM Modi visited Prayagraj on 13 December 2024

The Modi government is constantly working towards promoting and preserving India’s spiritual and cultural heritage. The Modi government has taken continuous active steps to increase infrastructure and facilities at pilgrimage sites. Earlier, PM Modi visited Prayagraj on 13 December 2024. He then inaugurated 167 development projects worth Rs 5,500 crore.

Prior to PM Modi, all the big leaders including Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have visited Mahakumbh.
