In view of the assembly elections, the Bihar government has made a major reshuffle at the administrative level. The state government on Saturday transferred the commissioner of 5 divisions and the District Magistrate (DM) of 18 districts. Notification has been issued by the General Administration Department in this regard. Under this reshuffle, the current DM of Patna, Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has been promoted and made the new commissioner of Patna division. In his place, Tyagarajan SM has been appointed as the new DM of Patna.
