Vij said that the age of every vehicle, tax payment and procurement is available in the app of the Transport Department. When the vehicle arrives at the petrol pump and its photo is captured in the camera, it will be immediately known through the app whether the vehicle meets the fixed standards or not.
He also indicated that this system can be implemented in other states in the coming time.
Railway’s minor fare increased
Regarding the increase in railway fares, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that this increase has been done after many years and it is very minor.
He argued that inflation has increased continuously over the years, but the railway fare remained almost stable for a long time. In such a situation, the current growth is appropriate and necessary in proportion to inflation.
