Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Arunachal Pradesh on Monday (September 22, 2025). During this time, PM reached Papum Pare district of the northeastern state, where he was welcomed by a woman civil service officer Visakha Yadav. There is a lot of discussion about IAS Visakha Yadav on social media.
Please tell that Visakha Yadav is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and he is currently working as Deputy Commissioner in Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh. IAS Visakha expressed his response by sharing pictures of PM’s reception.
He said, ‘I am proud to get an opportunity to warmly welcome PM Modi in Papum Pare.’ Visakha Yadav quit his job of lakhs of rupees for the preparation of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination. Without the help of coaching, he achieved sixth rank at the all India level in the Civil Services Examination.
Visakha Yadav, who hails from Delhi, was an engineer before becoming an IAS officer. He studied engineering from Delhi Technology (DTU) and then started a job in Cisco in Bangalore, but his dream was to become an IAS, for which he quit his job.
After leaving the engineer job, he started studies with self -study without coaching. Visakha failed in the first two attempts, but in the third attempt she won and became an IAS. He scored 1,046 out of 2,025 in UPSC exam, which was the sixth marks in the country.
Visakha finally fulfilled his dream without coaching without leaving a high -paying job. Visakha’s father Rajkumar Yadav, born in Delhi in 1994, is an assistant sub-inspector, while his mother is a housewife.
