Trump on iPhone manufacturing: US President Donald Trump has once again warned Apple, one of the world’s largest technical companies, that if his mobile phones are not made in America, then heavy tax (tax) will be levied on it.
President Trump has said that he wants mobile phones sold in America to be made on America’s land, not in India or any other country. He said that if this does not happen, he will consider putting up up to 25 percent import duty but all the mobile phones made outside the US, including Apple’s phones.
Vast investment and expansion of employment in India
Apple’s supplier company Foxconn has invested about Rs 20,000 crore in a 300 -acre factory in Devanhalli area of Karnataka state of India. This factory is currently employing 8,000 people and by the end of the year, the number of people working in it can reach 40,000. According to reports, India is moving towards becoming about 30 percent of the world’s total mobile phones by the end of 2025.
Changing local picture and new industrial energy
Mobile construction in India has not only increased employment, but has also accelerated the local economy. The wages around the Foxconn factory have increased by 10 to 15 percent. At the same time, many local companies like Indo-Mim and St.m are playing their important role in the series of mobile construction. This entire process has created a strong and self -sufficient industrial system in India.
India has a lot of workers strength, America does not have
There is no dearth of technical education youth in India. Every year thousands of youth are prepared from technical institutes and are willing to work in the construction sector. Only the population of the state of Karnataka is equal to half the population of the country, so that the manpower of India can be gauged.
An industry expert named Josh Fallgar said that he gets about 700 applications every year, which proves that there is no shortage of skilled people in India.
America’s difficulties: Youth generation is not ready for construction
While there are a large number of young engineers in India and they are ready to work under difficult conditions, there is no such situation in America. There are neither required number of trained youth in old industrial cities, nor are they attracted to this area. For this reason, Trump’s dream that mobile construction starts again in America, it seems far -fetched.
