Donald Trump promised
Donald Trump issued an executive order on January 20, soon after becoming President, which said to make the security check of foreign nationals entering the US more tough. Under the order, several members of the cabinet were asked to prepare a list of countries by March 21, whose journey of citizens should be partially or completely banned. This list was to include countries where heavy deficiencies were found in the investigation and screening process.
Apart from this, in a speech given in October 2023, Trump promised to ban people coming from Gaza Patti, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and other sensitive areas for the security of America.
