The police has made a big disclosure during the investigation in the murder case of Gurugram’s national level tennis player Radhika Yadav. Gurugram police said in this case that Radhika Yadav had tried to convince her father Deepak Yadav, who was allegedly disturbed by the taunts of the villagers. Deepak Yadav’s villagers used to taunt him that he lives on his daughter’s earnings.
On Thursday (July 10), Deepak Yadav shot and killed his daughter Radhika in his family house located in Gurugram, Haryana. After executing this incident, Gurugram police arrested him and the court has sent the father accused of murder to judicial custody for 14 days.
During police interrogation, accused father gave a statement
During the interrogation of the police, Deepak confessed that he was mentally disturbed by the taunts of the villagers and he could not even sleep properly for the last 15 days. He was very restless and used to roam around in his house. Apart from this, he had also stopped talking to his family members.
Deepak spent Rs 2.5 crore on Radhika’s tennis training
Father Deepak Yadav, accused of killing the daughter, spent more than Rs 2.5 crore on Radhika’s training in her tennis since childhood. However, two years ago Radhika suffered an injury, due to which Radhika could not push her career further in competition tennis.
Radhika started giving tennis coaching after braking on the career of Competitive Tennis. She started training sports lovers by booking tennis courts at different places. Along with this, she was also trying to become a social media influencer. Even Radhika was seen in a music video released a year ago. Apart from this, she used to make and upload reels regularly on social media platform Instagram.
Deepak also put pressure on her daughter’s social media accounts, coaching
However, Deepak was very angry with his daughter’s presence on social media. For this reason, Deepak also pressured Radhika to delete social media accounts repeatedly, after which Radhika had deleted her social media accounts.
After closing the social media accounts, Deepak was also pressurizing Radhika to stop giving tennis coaching. He himself spent crores of rupees for the training of his daughter Radhika, but became very sensitive about the criticisms and taunts of the people of the village and society.
Radhika used to request his father to maintain confidence
Deepak used to earn Rs 15 lakh annually from Brokery’s business. So he often told his daughter to close his academy, he is able to bear the expenses of the family himself. But Radhika was committed to her dreams and she used to constantly request her father to maintain confidence. She used to tell her father, “You have spent 2.5 crores on me. I will not let that money be ruined. I will give tennis training to other youth with my tennis talent and experience.”
