An inquiry commission has been formed to investigate this accident, which will be chaired by retired judge of the High Court Aruna Jagdishan. The Commission will investigate the real cause and negligence of this accident.
At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister MK Stalin over the phone and inquired about the situation. Along with this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has sought a full report of the accident from the Tamil Nadu government.
