There was a dispute between two communities over buying vegetables in Pachgachia village of Gopalpur police station area of Navagachia, Bihar. The minor argument gradually caught fire and on seeing it, people of both sides came face to face. The matter increased so much that stone pelting and assault started, in which many people were injured.
How did the controversy start?
It is being told that some children of the Muslim community went to Pachgachia market to buy vegetables. There, some youths of the Hindu community got upset about something. In a while, people from both sides gathered and the matter became violent. Many people were injured in stone pelting and assault. The injured have been admitted to Gopalpur Health Center for treatment.
Police team reached with team force
On receiving the information of the incident, the police of six police stations led by Navagachia SDPO Om Prakash reached the spot and tried to bring the situation under control. However, people from both sides were not ready to calm down, after which Navagachiya SP Prerna Kumar and SDM Rituraj Pratap Singh arrived with Dal-Bal and somehow pacified the dispute.

After the incident, the entire village has been converted into a police cantonment in view of the tension in the area. A large number of police forces have been deployed so that there is no new incident.
Navagachiya SP Prerna Kumar said, ‘The quarrel took place between 16-18 years of boys to buy vegetables, which gradually increased. On reaching the spot, the police has made the situation normal. A case will be registered in relevant sections by taking applications from both sides.
Clash between two communities in Nasariganj, Rohtas, 9 injured
The dispute between two communities in Nasriganj area of Rohtas district took violent form. After seeing a minor argument, people from both sides came face to face and stones started. 9 people were injured in this clash, who are being treated in the local hospital. As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and took the situation under control. 27 people have been detained, while three different FIRs have been registered.
