A gruesome road accident occurred on Sunday in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh, in which two youths were killed and one was seriously injured. The accident occurred in the afternoon near Kalaaura in Hathras Junction area. According to the information, three youths from Odhapura were going from Sikandararao towards Hathras.
Two youths killed in road accident
The deceased have been identified as 25 -year -old Vishnu Sharma and 24 -year -old Deepak, while 24 -year -old Anas is seriously injured. It is being told that Anas was driving a car. As soon as his car reached Kaloura, a pickup vehicle coming from the front hit the vehicle. The pickup vehicle was coming from the wrong direction, causing this fierce collision.
The collision was so strong that the car flew away. Vishnu Sharma and Deepak died on the spot in the accident, while Anas was seriously injured. With the help of local people, he was rushed to the district hospital, where after primary treatment he has been referred to the high center. His condition remains critical.
Driver escaped from the spot after the accident
The pickup vehicle also overturned after the collision. After the accident, his driver escaped from the spot. Police reached the spot and sent both the bodies for postmortem and started legal action. Hathras Junction Police Station Incharge Satendra Singh Raghav said that the absconding driver is being searched.
The families of the deceased are in a weeping condition. Due to the accident, there was a jam on the highway for some time, which was removed by the police. At present, the police is investigating the case and has said to take strict action against the guilty driver.
