Two people lost their lives in a painful road accident on Sunday afternoon in Tharali area of ​​Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The accident took place near Gumta Tanauli located on the Kulsari-Nal-dhalu motorway, where a car fell uncontrollably into a deep ditch.

According to the report of the news agency, the incident took place around 1:30 pm on Sunday afternoon. As soon as the local administration was informed of the accident, relief teams were dispatched on the spot. On reaching the spot, the teams saw that two people were lying in unconscious state. He was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Those who lost their lives in the accident have been identified as 56 -year -old Darshan Ram and 60 -year -old Dinesh Chandra Joshi. Both local residents are being told, although detailed information about this is being collected by the police.

The joint team of police and administration has taken the dead bodies and sent it for postmortem. According to officials, the cause of the accident is being investigated. The initial estimate is that the car slipped uncontrollably and due to lack of road security wall, it fell into a deep ditch.

Local people say that this area is extremely inaccessible and there are no strong arrangements for road safety here. He has demanded the administration to place barricading and warning indicators on this route.
