New Delhi. While the senior team will play in the 5 -match Test series between India and England, the under -19 team will also be seen showing their strength. A 50-over warm-up match, five youth ODIs and two multi-day matches will be played against the Indian Under-19 team England, headed by Ayush Mhatre, who showed a bang game in the Indian Premier League. Prior to this visit, the Junior Cricket Committee has included D. Deepesh and Naman Pushpak in the team in place of Aditya Rana and Khilon Patel.
Both Dipesh and Naman were in the list of standby players for this tour. The BCCI said that Aditya has got a stress fracture in the lower back, while Khilon has had a stress reaction in the right leg during the ongoing high-performance camp at the BCCI Center of Excellence.
