F-35 Stuck in Kerala: Jet F-35B, the most dangerous fighter of the Royal Navy of England, has stood at Trivandrum Airport in Kerala for about two weeks. This jet landed at around 9:30 pm on the night of 14 June. So far it has not been revealed when the world’s most expensive American fighter jet will return. Now the statement has been issued by the British High Commission in Bangalore.
Sukhoi fighter jet did F-35 escort
The F-35B (Lightning), posted on the aircraft carrier HMS Wales of England’s Royal Navy, made an emergency landing in Trivandrum. A Sukhoi fighter jet of the Indian Air Force, escorted F-35 and reached Trivandrum. HMS Wales is stationed in the Arabian Sea these days. Late on Saturday night, the F-35B fighter jet failed to make the aircraft landing repeatedly on the aircraft carrier due to some reasons. In such a situation, the aircraft took emergency diversion and landed emergency at Trivandrum Airport.
British High Commission released a statement about F-35
According to NDTV, the British High Commission said, “A F-35 fighter jet from Britain could not return to the HMS Prince of Wales due to bad weather, after which he was sent to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, where he made a safe emergency landing. There was some technical problem in the fighter jet, due to which it could not be brought back.
How long will fly F-35? No answer was found
The High Commission reported that initially the engineers of HMS Prince of Wales investigated the jet and then it was decided that Britain’s engineering team was needed, which could correct it. There is no information about how long the fighter jet will be fine and flying. After the team from Britain, F-35 will be removed from Trivandrum Airport and taken to another place with the help of a technical team.
