Ukraine’s President Wloadimir Jailonsky has appealed to his Western allied countries to impose 0.25% of their GDP to strengthen Ukraine’s weapon production capacity. In a statement issued by the President’s Office on Saturday, Jailonski said that the country is now planning to make compromises related to export of arms manufacturing techniques in this summer.
Jailonsky said Ukraine is currently interacting with Denmark, Norway, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom and Lithuania to start joint production of weapons. President Jailonsky believes that this is not only of Ukraine, but also the security of Europe.

Weapons and ammunition needs increased continuously
Ukraine’s President Jelnesky said, “Ukraine is part of the security of Europe and we want every partner country to allocate its GDP 0.25% for our defense industry and domestic production.” Amidst the ongoing war with Russia, which exceeds Ukraine in arms and military resources, the need for new weapons and ammunition of Ukraine is continuously increasing. In such a situation, the domestic construction of weapons has now joined the priorities of the country.

43 billion dollars raised
The President also informed that this year Ukraine has raised an amount of $ 43 billion for the manufacture of domestic weapons. This step is not only to increase the defense capabilities of the country, but is also considered a strong step towards long -term self -sufficiency. Ukraine has been fighting war with Russia for the last three years. During this time many Ukrainian cities have been completely destroyed. Jailonsky has been saying that today is Ukraine’s number, and tomorrow Europe’s number will come.
