UP: Big game of fake manure exposed in Auraiya, 1000 sacks recovered, 5 arrested – Auraiya Nakli Khad Gang Busted LCLCN

In Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, a large gang making fake fertilizer has been revealed. In joint action of district administration and police, more than 1000 fake manure sacks were recovered from a rented house. The police have arrested five accused in this case and sent them to jail. Those arrested have been identified as Sunny Chauhan, Neeraj Chauhan, Sunil Chauhan, Chinu Chauhan and Charan Singh.

DM Indramani Tripathi and Superintendent of Police Abhijeet R Shankar said that the team was continuously tracking after receiving information about fake fertilizer business. In this sequence, a truck and a warehouse on Jalaun Road was detected after questioning a truck and the driver caught by the tax department. About 1000 sacks of fake DAP fertilizer were found in the raid there. In these, packing materials and sewing equipment of different companies were also recovered. Investigation revealed that the gang had rented this house only one month ago and was running illegal business from here.

According to the police, the seized goods include 192 sacks of DAP, 198 sacks of NFL depot, 272 unbranted sacks and 291 other companies. Apart from this, 23 empty sacks of IFFCO DAP were also found, which were used in packing. The police have also seized a Tata Panch train used by the accused.

Investigation revealed that the gang used to ask for raw materials from an unknown place and packed it in the sacks of well -known companies and supplied it to the farmers. If this manure reached the market, thousands of farmers would have suffered losses and crops would have been destroyed. Criminal history of the arrested accused has also come out. Nine against Sunny Chauhan, one against Neeraj Chauhan, three against Charan Singh and five against Chinu Chauhan have already been registered. At present, the police have registered a case against all the accused under serious sections including the Essential Commodities Act.

Conspiracy to ruin farmers failed

The SP said that now the focus of the police is on highlighting the backward and forward links of the gang. That is, where did this gang get fake manure, whom used to come from empty sacks and packing items and which distributors or shopkeepers were supplied. There is also a indication of the supply of Bareilly in the recovered sacks, which is being investigated.

The District Magistrate and SP say that such gangs doing fake fertilizer business directly cause harm to farmers. Therefore, strict action will be taken against the culprits in this case and such elements will be closely monitored.
