A case of heartbreaking animal cruelty has come to light in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident is of Savitri Enclave Colony on Najibabad Kotwali Road. Here PWD retired engineer Rajveer Singh shot an innocent dog only four bullets because he was standing outside his house and barking.
According to the information, Rajveer Singh first chased the dog for a long time and when the dog came near, he fired four bullets one after the other from his licensed revolver. The dog injured by a bullet fell into a drain and died on the spot. The dead dog was the one who used to guard the night in the colony and remained a source of safety of the people.

After this gruesome incident, there has been a huge outrage among the residents. People immediately informed the police by creating a ruckus. Police reached the spot and searched the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the colony. In the footage, Rajveer Singh has seen clearly shooting the dog. On the basis of CCTV evidence, the police took Rajvir Singh into custody and started interrogation by taking them to the police station.
At the same time, the Colony Committee has demanded the cancellation of the license of the accused engineer’s revolver and strict legal action on it. This matter is going viral on social media and people are demanding severe punishment to the accused, so that in future anyone thinks a hundred times before doing such inhuman act.
