A video tarnishing the image of Uttar Pradesh Police went viral on social media. In this video, a policeman posted in Kasganj police line was seen drunken by alcohol and was seen doing objectionable acts with the woman. As soon as the video surfaced, the police administration came into action and SP Kasganj Ankita Sharma suspended the accused Daroga with immediate effect.
On this matter, ASP Jesh Bharti said that the incident took place at a distance from the SP office, where a police officer was drunk and was treating the woman improperly on the road. In the video, his cap was lying on the ground and he was openly drunk and was questioning the credibility of the police.

In the viral video, when some people questioned the inspector about his antics, he described himself as a resident of Bareilly and even said that he is wearing fake uniform. However, during the police investigation, he was identified as a sub-inspector posted in the Kasganj police line.

Taking this incident seriously, SP Kasganj has suspended the accused Daroga and ordered a departmental inquiry into the case. After the video went viral, deep resentment is being seen among the general public about the image of the police.
