The general life has been affected due to intermittent rains in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh for the last two days. Dudhli village under Charathaval block of the district has been affected the most due to this rain. Due to lack of proper drainage system in the village, rain water has entered the houses.
Villagers are trying with utensils and buckets to extract water from their homes. The goods of many houses have been soaked. The streets have been flooded to the knees, which is causing trouble in movement. Villagers say that information about this problem was given to the administration earlier, but no solution was taken.

Rural Omvir Singh said that the land of the village is low and there is no evacuation system. Many times a complaint was made to the DM, but the hearing was not held. Today again the delegation has gone to meet DM.
Villagers demand drainage
At the same time, Rambhul Singh Pundir said that due to lack of excavation of the pond, the situation of waterlogging has become even more serious. He demanded from the administration that proper drainage in the village should be made soon.
