A shocking incident has come to light in the big Hanuman temple located in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. Here the temple priest Deepak Tiwari and his father were beaten fiercely by the bullies for taking out two laddus of Prasad. This entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the temple, which is now viral on social media.

The incident is being reported on 15 June. During the worship recitation in the temple, priest Deepak Tiwari took out two laddus as offerings to give to the devotees. On this matter, some domineering residents of Garhi Mohalla of police station area started controversy. The matter increased so much that the bullies beat the priest with kicking and punches inside the temple.

Even his old father who came to the rescue of the priest was not spared. He too was brutally beaten by the accused. Seeing the situation deteriorating, the priest and his father somehow ran into the sanctum sanctorum with Hanuman statue and closed the door from inside and saved his life.

This incident has caused sensation in the area. There is also anger among the local people about this incident in the temple premises. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case. Khaga Kotwali police have registered a case against unknown assailants on the priest’s mother’s tahrir.

The police have started investigation by taking CCTV footage installed in the temple. It is clearly visible in the video how the bullies attacked the priest and his father, keeping the dignity of the temple complex. At present, the accused are being searched.
