Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh has taken a tough stand on the delay in the construction works of Noida International Airport. On Wednesday, he reached the Jewar Airport Site and conducted a terrestrial inspection of all the construction sites including the runway, terminal, cargo building.
In a two -hour tour, the Chief Secretary held a high -level meeting with Yamuna Development Authority, District Magistrate Gautam Budh Nagar and construction companies. He expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of construction works and said that Noida International Airport is in the highest priorities of the state government. There should not be any compromise in any kind of delay or quality.

In the meeting, Tata Projects Limited, Noida International Airport Limited (NIA), and Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) officials informed about the progress of airport construction.
The Chief Secretary said that this airport will not only speed up the economy of the state, but will also create new opportunities for employment and business for the youth. He instructed to expedite regular reviews and work.

During the inspection, Yamuna Authority CEO Arunveer Singh, DM Manish Kumar Verma, Jewar Airport Limited CEO Christoff Shrellman and COO Kiran Jain were also present.
