A case of death of a 25 -year -old woman under suspicious circumstances has come to light in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. The deceased was a BTC student at a teacher training institute. The police have registered a case of abetment of suicide against two youths Pawan Sharma and Bittu Sharma in this case.

The incident took place on Wednesday evening when the body of the student was found hanging in the Ballia’s District Education and Training Institute (DIET), Pakwinar building. Initially, the case seemed to be suicide, but the police are suspected of murder on the basis of evidence found at the scene.

The wrist vein was cut
According to police sources, the student’s left wrist vein was cut off, which seemed that she had committed suicide. But the way the body was hanged from the noose, the police suspect that he was first murdered and then the body was hanged to show it like suicide.

On the complaint of the girl’s brother, a case has been registered against Pawan Sharma, Bittu Sharma and some unknown people at Rasra police station on Saturday night under Section 108 (provoking suicide), 351 (3) (criminal intimidation) and 318 (4) (fraud) against the Indian Justice Code (BNS).

Investigation has revealed that Pawan Sharma and the student had relations for the last three years. Pawan had taken Rs 1.25 lakh from the student on the pretext of marriage. But on 14 July, Pawan got engaged to another girl. When the student came to know about this deception, she was very mentally broken. Rasra police station in -charge Vipin Singh said that the case has been registered and the whole matter is being investigated in depth.
