The incident of theft from the temple from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh has come to light. Two thieves entered the Durga temple near Parmarthi Pokhre in New Colony, posh area of ​​the city here late on Monday night. The thieves broke the lock of the donation and cleaned the hand on the amount of offerings. This entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the temple, which is now becoming viral on social media.

It is clearly visible in the viral CCTV footage that two young boys enter the temple’s main gate and enter the donation box directly. They first look around and take stock of the situation and then cleanly break the lock of donation box.

After this, as soon as his eye falls on the camera, he is seen hiding his face with his hand. Despite this, he carried out the theft incident and escaped. The entire incident took place at the posh location of the city, which is located just 200 meters from Sadar Kotwali.

Regarding this whole matter, CO City Sanjay Kumar Reddy said that this incident is on the night of 23-24 June. A case has been registered in the respective sections in the police station Kotwali on the basis of the tahrir given by the priest of the temple. The police have started searching for thieves based on CCTV footage. Efforts are being made to identify in the surrounding areas. Local people have demanded to increase security regarding this incident.
