The case is of Udaybhan Singh, a resident of Fatepur village of Haliapur police station area, who runs an e-rickshaw shop in Haliyapur. On his mobile at around 4:50 pm on 30th June +91-2143-315289 Call came from the number. The caller described himself as Ranjit Kumar and said that he is speaking from ‘Pahalgam Police Station’. He alleged that the terrorists spoke to Udaybhan’s number during the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on 22 April.

When Udaybhan dismissed the allegation that he never went to Kashmir, the caller said that he is transferring a call from the higher officer based in Lucknow and will have to do as it is said now. After this another number 9465805094 Call came from, in which the caller described himself as Prem Kumar Gautam and an officer of ATS Department. He asked Udaybhan to go to a closed room and talk and send Aadhaar card.
Vigilant Udaybhan spoke to his friend Ashish Singh’s house, but Ashish did not let the door close and immediately informed others about it. “Ats department” was written in calls and messages on WhatsApp and Aadhaar card was being sought. But Udaybhan did not share any documents wisely. When the video call was made, the caller kept his face hidden. On this, friends abused the thug and threatened the report in the police. After this, the call was immediately cut and WhatsApp DP was also removed.
At present, this great fraud was averted due to the vigilance of the young man and the understanding of his companions. Although a complaint has not been filed in the police, it is a warning for everyone that cyber thugs are now using the sensitive incidents of the country for cheating.
