A dangerous but shocking incident has come to light in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. A leopard who wandered from the forest on a brick kiln in Baburi village of Dhaurahra police station area was caught by a young man working there. After this, the mob present at the scene started raining brick and stones on the leopard, which injured him and escaped from the young man’s possession as soon as he got a chance.

According to the information, on Sunday, a leopard wandered from the forest on a brick kiln located outside Baburi village. Seeing him, a laborer named Mihilal, who was there, grabbed the leopard and pressed him on the ground for a long time. During this time other laborers and villagers reached the spot and started throwing brick and stones on the leopard.

Due to this, the leopard was injured and as soon as he got a chance, he left Mihilal’s grip and ran towards the forest. Mihilal has also suffered minor injuries in the incident. Another employee present there recorded the entire incident on mobile, which later went viral on social media. In the video, the leopard can be seen being caught on the ground and throwing stones at it.

As soon as the incident was reported, the forest department team reached the spot and after a hard work of about four hours, the leopard was rescued safely. The injured Mihilal has been admitted to the district hospital. The forest department has appealed that in such cases the general public should keep distance from wildlife like leopard and immediately inform the department.
