A passenger aircraft temporarily entered the banned aircraft (TFR) by a passenger aircraft over US President Donald Trump’s private golf club bedminster retreat. This incident took place at 12:50 pm on Sunday afternoon (local time). The incident happened when Trump and his family were resting in this retreat. As soon as this information was received to the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad), fighter aircraft were immediately sent and the citizen aircraft was warned.
Norad said in the statement that as soon as we came to know about the intrusion into the banned aircraft, we took immediate action. The fighter aircraft intercepted the civilian aircraft and warned them out and evacuated it safely. In this process, the aircraft flying in the restricted area was tracked on the radar. Flairs were used to warn. The pilot, following the order, took the aircraft out of the area. Although there was no loss of life and property in this action, it reflects the sensitivity and immediate reaction of safety security.
What is Trump’s badminster retreat?
Bedminster Retreat, officially known as Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. There is a private golf club and luxury retreat located in New Jersey. Trump bought it in 2002 for $ 35 million. This place has often been the main hideout of Trump’s summer holidays. The region is declared Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) in the presence of President or former President. No unauthorized flight is allowed in this aircraft and the US security agencies take such cases very seriously.
Is this the first event?
On July 5, another similar infiltration incident was revealed. At that time Trump and former first woman Melania Trump were holidaying. During that time too, a civilian aircraft accidentally entered the TFR area, after which Norad took immediate action. This repetition is becoming a matter of concern for America’s security system.
