Ram Darbar’s life was prestige on 5 June.
Question. Where did the inspiration to make the idol of King Ram got? answer. I got inspired by my Aradhya Hanumanji. I did devotion to him since childhood, this is his blessing. I got this work as service. I have been making sculptures since the age of 14. So inspiration was found only by the name Ram. God gives everything to mind, soul, intellect, power.
Question. This is the occasion that you prepare Ram Darbar, how did this incident become? answer. On January 22, 2024, I was also in Ayodhya. Then the idol of Ramlala was made. Used to perform Yajna, lived with saints. When Sita-Ram used to get unbroken recitation, he got the blessings of Hanuman ji here. Hanumanji has done this work. In 2023, Ayodhya came here from Ram temple in Vaishalinagar, Jaipur. I had brought only a small statue of Ramlala, 500 km from my house. You see grace, I had to stay in the temple of Gaurishankar near Hanumangarhi. Hanumanji caught me there, on the second day when Yogi ji came to Ramsevakapuram, I talked to Champat Rai. The idol of a Ramji presented him. After that the paths went on.

Question. What is the specialty of this idol? Which stone is made? How long did it take to make? answer. God was divine, Karunanidhan was also a stone for the idol of Karunasagar Rama. This is very soft…, like Rama’s heart. But when that stone was carved, as when left the arrow with Rama’s bow, the sound of tunker came in that stone. Such is a wonderful stone.
It is a 40 -year -old Makrana stone, it took 15 days to find it. The idol was ready in 7 months. Let me tell you … there is a Ram temple in Vaishalinagar (Jaipur), there used to do 5 Mala Ram and 540 circumambulation. Understand that people had wishes, which was fulfilled by my hand.
Question. Did you get any remuneration for this? How much is that? answer. The blessings that we got, Hanumanji is immortal, he also made our work immortal. We cannot tell what you have got.
Question. Any development in preparing the idols that you want to share? answer. Hanumanji used to come in my dreams. Gave me the form of Lord Rama. My dream came true.
Question. Did you prepare these sculptures alone or also the artisans? answer. A total of 25 artists were engaged, they are all my disciples. I am 66 years old today. I have been making sculptures since the age of 14. I have made thousands of idols with my hand. More than 100 artists work with me, our idols are made throughout India. Our idols are made in the ISKCON temple. 90% of the Swaminath temple is our work. There is also a chance to make idols for big saints and big businessmen like Reliance.
Question. Did the trust give a guideline about the idols already? answer. Yes, Vasudev Kamat ji gave me a drawing by taking the essence of Valmiki, Tulsidas’s Ramayana and texts. It was prepared for the form of stone. Drawings are drawing, but when the form is realized on the stone, then there is God God. He gives darshan like God in the mind of the artist, he is engaged on stone.
Question. Have you prepared any other idol other than Raja Ram? answer. I made 17 idols like Sapta Rishi, Durga ji, Ahilya, Sabari, Annapurna, Hanuman, Ganeshji here. All these idols are made after 2024. I have nothing, all are zero. Whatever is, he belongs to Shri Ram, of Shankar and Hanumanji.
Ram Darbar is on the first floor of the temple. Its carving has also been like a sanctum sanctorum.
Question. You also made the statue of Ramlala in 2024? What and how did you feel then? answer. The experience is such that what to tell. Ramlala seated in 2024, he also got a chance to build it.
