The UP government will file a reply in the High Court by July 3 in the Banke Bihari temple corridor case in Vrindavan. The temple’s Goswami is protesting in the campus. They have two big points. First- There should be no misuse of temple funds. Second- Kunj streets and the nature of the temple are not
,
Mathura-Vrindavan administration officials have had 2 meetings. But Goswami has not agreed to the corridor. Dainik Bhaskar Talked to Mathura’s BJP MP Hema Malini about the corridor.
He said- Once my hair dresser went to see Banke Bihari. Somebody grabbed his hair and pushed him back. Such accidents happen everyday, it should not happen. Goswami of the temple has funds, but he did nothing.
Foreign tourists come, he says- reach the gate, but Banke could not see Bihari. This will not happen after the corridor is built. Read what Hema Malini said ..
Hema Malini said- We want those who are coming to visit, go back with good memories.
Question: The court agreed, the government issued an ordinance, what would you say? answer: Many people of Vrindavan are happy with the court order. Some people are opposing this, because they have tension what will happen? Actually, they do not know the reality. There are 3 types of people, first those who have houses, seconds who have shops, third are those who are in tenancy. After the survey, everyone is going to get the right compensation.
Also, after the formation of the corridor, shops which will be built on the campus will also be given to the same people whose shops are broken. New types of good shops are to be built on the campus.
Question: Will people’s problems be reduced after the formation of the corridor? answer: Everyone wants people to come. Look at Bankeji, then remember well. There is no shock. What is happening now, people who are coming are upset. I can see Women come with children, they are very difficult.
My hair dresser went to see Banke Bihari ji. She was telling that someone grabbed her hair and pushed her back. She was shocked that similar accidents happen, but no one is going to speak. When a devotee dies, then news is made. Otherwise, small incidents happen every day. Where people come from, so some come.
Question: People go to Sapta Devalaya too, what are you doing for this? answer: I all say that there is Sapta Devalaya (group of 7 temples) here. Everyone can see. But everyone has to come to Banke Bihari. So do not please Banke Bihariji too. For many years, Goswami people live there, they could do a lot, they also have funds, but have not done it.
Therefore, we are taking steps to facilitate people. They are happy, then will come back again and again. Those coming from abroad say that we went to the door, but could not see. I was so sad to hear that I cannot tell.
Question: People’s feelings are attached to the streets there? answer: See, what is the good thing in the streets right now. Vrindavan was settled in ancient times, then how much population must have been? 500 or 5000 people lived comfortably. Right now 5 lakh people are coming inside it.
Now there is no place to walk there. We want the sewerage system to be fixed, but cannot do it. Now it rains, then the drains start flowing outside, devotees go through the same dirty water to see, what does it feel like.
Every day 1.5 to 2 lakh people come to visit the Banke Bihari temple of Vrindavan.
Question: Goswami is opposing the ordinance? answer: There is no need to be afraid. Yogiji has also assured us. It is said that no one will have a problem.
Question: Have you talked to Goswamis? answer: Even today we have spoken. A meeting has also been held tomorrow. We are also understanding their point, we will also keep them in the right place. The problem will definitely be Salv. All I want is to allow the corridor to be built.
Question: Do you think there will be development from the corridor? answer: This is the development. See how beautiful the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor is. Ram temple was built in Ayodhya, people come to see. There is no shortage here either, but we are not able to provide facilities. At one time there were only temples and ashrams here, now so many restaurants have come. We are not able to stop all this.
Now understand the petition filed in the court …
Pankaj Saraswat of Mathura filed a petition Pankaj Saraswat of Mathura filed a petition in the High Court. Justice Siddharth Verma and Madan Pal Singh have sought a reply from the UP government till July 3 on the PIL challenging the Kunj streets around the Banke Bihari temple and the plan to demolish the temple.
Argument- Kunj streets are not just the way … Pankaj Saraswat said in his petition- these Kunj Galis are not just some ways, but are a historic site related to the pastimes of Banke Bihari. Destroying them is like ending the tradition of Vaishnava devotion. These streets are as revered for the devotees, as the temple.
Demand from court- Traditional streets and temple should be preserved. The basic form of Vrindavan should not be destroyed.
What did Mathura-Vrindavan administration do- The survey was conducted in Vrindavan 2 years ago. Survey is to be done again. A team of 3 officers has also been formed. This team will start a survey of more than 300 shop-money after June 5. Its report will be given to the Commissioner and DM. On this basis, compensation will be fixed. ,
