According to the information, this incident is from Kuthala and Sultanpur villages of Saurik police station area of ​​the district. Devanshu, a resident of Kuthala and Deepti, a resident of Sultanpur, loved each other. Both met at a wedding, after which they started liking each other. He had a relationship between him for three years. When the family of the girl got aware of this, they decided to marry her 15 days ago. After the engagement, Deepti broke his relationship with Devanshu.
Because of this, Devanshu got angry with his girlfriend Deepti. At around 3 am on Monday morning, he picked up his father’s license gun and reached Deepti’s house. Deepti was sleeping on the roof of the house at that time. It is being told that he shot directly into Deepti’s chest. Deepti died on the spot as soon as the bullet was shot. After this, Devanshu reached some distance away from there and shot himself. Hearing the sound of bullets, panic spread in both villages.
When Deepti’s family reached the terrace, he was stunned to see his body soaked in blood. After this, the police was informed about the incident. The police team reached the spot and took the dead bodies and sent it for postmortem. Kannauj Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar said that the two had old relations. The girl was recently engaged, due to which the young man was angry. He said that this case is being investigated from every angle. Family members are also being questioned.
He also said that mobile data, messages and call records are being investigated. Post mortem report is also awaited. The case will be assessed based on all reports and data. Local people say that Devanshu was a very calm boy. He had passed 12th and was preparing to go to college. At the same time, his girlfriend Deepti was already graduating. Devanshu’s father is retired from the army. There is a gun license in his name.
