Till Saturday, 5 laborers were missing. But out of these, Sunil Kumar, a resident of Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, has reached his home. Actually, Sunil had left the camp without telling it before the accident. Now the family told that Sunil has reached the house safely.
The accident occurred near Mana village of Chamoli at 7:15 am on 28 February. On the Moli-Badrinath highway, 55 laborers of the Border Road Organization (BRO) stayed at the container house, when the mountain of snow slipped. All the laborers were hit by it.
In addition to 4 army chopper in the rescue, more than 200 soldiers of ITBP, BRO, SDRF and NDRF are engaged.
