Vadodara accident: CCTV footage has surfaced three days after the painful road accident in Vadodara, which has imprisoned the accused before the incident. The accused 20 -year -old law student Rakshit Chaurasia was seen at a friend’s house with his friend Pranshu. In the footage, both are seen coming on scooters and talking. After this, they go inside the house. Meanwhile, the black sedan car which was involved in the accident stops on the roadside.
On Friday (March 14), a speeding car of Rakshit Chaurasia in Karelibagh area of ​​Vadodara hit several two -wheelers. In this accident, a woman died on the spot, while four others were seriously injured. According to the people around the scene, soon after the incident, the protected came out of the car in a drunken state and shouted, ‘Anadar round, andhar round!’ This action of the accused got into controversies, as it was inspired by the film ‘Round’.
Accused Rakshit caught after the incident
Soon after the incident, the local people caught the accused Rakshit and handed over to the police. The police has started investigation and Rakshit and his friend Pranshu have been arrested in this case. The police is also investigating whether drugs were also used in this accident.
Rakshit denied allegations of drinking alcohol
Rakshit, however, has rejected allegations of drinking alcohol. He says that this accident happened due to a pit on the road. ‘We were in front of Scooty and were turning right. Suddenly the pit of the car was impaired and the airbag opened, which caused blurry for a few moments in front of my eyes and the car was controlled. Rakshit told the media. He also said that he was driving a car only at a speed of 50 km/h and he did not drink alcohol.
Expressed desire to meet the victim families
Rakshit expressed deep regret over the incident and said that he wants to meet the families of the victims. He further said that ‘Today I came to know that a woman has died and some people are injured. This is my fault and I will accept whatever punishment for this. Police investigation is going on in this case and a detailed report is likely to be revealed soon.
