New Delhi. Vaibhav Suryavanshi got a chance to watch a Test match in England for the first time. He became a witness to Shubman Gill’s double century. Seeing Gill’s brilliant innings, he said that the innings of the Indian captain was actually inspiring. The under-19 team along with the Indian senior team is also on a tour of England. India’s Under-19 men’s team was present in the stadium on the second day of the Birmingham Test. It was arranged by VVS Laxman, head of BCCI’s Center of Excellence (COE).

Vaibhav Suryavanshi (Vaibhav Suryavanshi) said in the video released by BCCI, ‘I am watching the Test match in England for the first time. I feel very good. We all came to see the matches. We got a lot of inspiration. Shubman Gill is a role model for us. Everyone’s dream has to play red ball cricket for our country. Vaibhav has scored 48, 45 and 86 runs in three ODIs against England Under -19 while playing for India U -19 team.

VVS Laxman had arranged to watch the match

Vaibhav was accompanied by Under -19 team captain Ayush Mhatre, Head Coach Rishikesh Kanitkar and other staff stadium. In a video released on BCCI TV, Rishikesh Kanitkar said that VVS Laxman had made arrangements to watch the match of the under-19 team. He had said that it would be very interesting for young cricketers to watch this match. Kanitkar said that the young players saw how to pursue the innings in Test cricket during the match.

Kanitkar said, ‘As a batsman I want young cricketers to learn that every ball should not be hit and six. You can still be extremely effective, score at a good speed, as Shubman did.
