Prime Minister’s National Children’s Awards will be distributed on the occasion of Brave Children’s Day on Thursday at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. This time 17 children from 14 states/union territories have been selected for this award. These include 7 boys and 10 girls.
President Draupadi Murmu will give awards to these 17 children. These awards are given in seven categories. Which includes Art and Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Science and Technology, Social Work, Sports and Environment. PM Narendra Modi will also participate in the program.

Union Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi will deliver the inaugural address. Around 3,500 children, including Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award winners and dignitaries, will participate in the event.

Children whose age is more than 5 years and less than 18 years. Who are citizens of India and live in the country. He can be given this award. Children who achieved achievements in the field of bravery in the year 2018 were also included.
Awards are given in 7 categories Initially this award is given in six categories. Which included art and culture, bravery, innovation, education, social service and sports. Now science and technology have also been added to it.
What do you get when you win an award? Every winner of the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award is given a medal and a certificate. Along with this, the award winners also get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
11 children were given the award in 2023
Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awards are given to children in the age group of 5 to 18 years.
In 2023, this award was given to 11 children from 11 states/union territories. The award winners included one child in the bravery and social work category, two in the innovation category, three in sports and four in the art and culture category. Out of these 11 award winners, 5 were girls and 6 were boys.
