Advocate Makhija told the bench of the Supreme Court that the FIR has already been recorded on Shah. Makhija insisted that Shah’s statement has been widely misunderstood. He said that the media has taken the statement out of the context. Shah has apologized in this case.
Because Shah demanded no punitive steps till the hearing in the case, a bench of Justice AG Christ directed him to go to the High Court. The bench said, “Go and apply to the High Court. We will hear it tomorrow.”
Amidst all this, the Supreme Court has refused to pass an interim order in the case.
MP High Court is also not satisfied with FIR On Thursday, the MP High Court expressed displeasure over the language of FIR recorded on Colonel Sophia Qureshi’s controversial statement. The double bench of the High Court on Thursday described the FIR against Minister Vijay Shah as only Khanapurti. The High Court said that now the police will monitor this police investigation. It is necessary to do so so it is not affected under any pressure. The High Court will again hear the case after the holiday.

Government of Madhya Pradesh- Advocate General Prashant Singh told the court that an FIR was lodged against Vijay Shah at Manpur police station in Indore at 7:55 pm on Wednesday. Police is investigating.
High Court- Justice Atul Sreedharan said that this is not an investigation into any murder, but a case related to an objectionable speech. In such a situation, there is no need for a long investigation.
