Villagers stage protest on road in lingapur Village in Telangana after their names were excluded from indiramama housing scheme annn

Protests in lingapur Village in Telangana: The beneficiaries staged a protest against Indirama houses in Lingapur village of Kadem Mandal in Nirmal district of Telangana state. On Tuesday (June 17, 2025), poor people alleged that their names have not been included in the list of Indirama houses. In protest against not being included in the scheme, the villagers protested their protest by staging a sit -in on the main road in Lingapur village.

The needy did not get the benefit of the housing scheme

The protesters of Lingapur village alleged that Indirama Ghar is being given to those who are fully prosperous and are already living in pucca houses. Whereas in fact, the needy people are not getting the benefit of Indirama Yojana. Many people said that their houses had fallen in the last rain. After this, he hoped that in the Congress government, he would get houses under the Indirama scheme, but due to local leaders, he was deprived of it.

Protesters demand an answer from Telangana’s Congress government

The protesters demanded from the Congress government that the government should immediately respond to the matter and remove the names of the unqualified people from the list and identify the homeless, needy and the poor and provide them the right benefits of the scheme. At the same time, he demanded the officials to conduct a complete investigation in the villages and allot the house to the eligible beneficiaries. However, no official response has been received from the administration on the matter so far.
